Relections from The Library

For seven long years, I battled an array of debilitating symptoms that took over my life. As a former Division I track and cross-country runner, I went from thriving to struggling just to make it through each day. I faced relentless fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, anxiety, and countless other symptoms related to mold illness and Lyme disease. I saw every kind of doctor imaginable, but nothing helped.

Then God led me to Kameo... and everything changed. From our very first conversation, she listened and immediately understood what my body needed to heal. She wasn’t just another practitioner; she was an answer to prayer. For years, I asked God for healing, and He used her as the vessel to guide me back to health.

Kameo cared for me on a deeply personal and spiritual level. Her understanding of how the body requires capacity to detox and heal is truly remarkable, and the protocols she designed were thoughtfully tailored to my body’s specific needs. She listens, encourages, and educates with such clarity and care.

Her communication style made a huge difference. The patient portal app was easy to use, and being able to text and call her directly made me feel supported and informed at every stage of my detox journey from mold and lyme. I always knew exactly where I was in the process, and for the first time in years, I finally began to heal.

Through the highs and lows of my healing journey, God remained faithful and Kameo was His instrument in restoring my health. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.  Chelsea - 27

The Struggle Was Real ... Until I Entered the Library

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer in November of 2022. Kameo had helped me resolve my diabetes six years earlier, so I reached out to her right away. What stood out was how she helped me understand what my body was dealing with, not just what was showing up on scans.

She explained how long-term toxic exposures can overwhelm healthy cells and interfere with the metabolic systems responsible for repair and DNA integrity. That made sense to me. I remember thinking, how can my body fight cancer if my cells are under constant attack? So I decided to test.

What we found surprised me. I had decades of environmental toxins, yeast, mold, glyphosates, and more. Kameo also encouraged BRCA testing because of my family history. I tested double positive, which turned out to be important information for both my medical team and my children.

Here we are in December 2025, and I’m grateful to say my most recent scan showed no cancer in my blood or lymph nodes, and the tumor on my spine has not progressed in 2 years. I continue to learn and apply metabolic therapies to support my body while working alongside my doctors.

The cellular work Kameo guided me through helped me understand what my body needed and how to support it. My doctors have been impressed, and I truly believe this kind of work belongs in a team-based approach. Don’t wait until it’s too late.”

For years, weight felt like a battle I couldn’t win. I was doing the “right things.” Eating well. Being mindful. Trying to support my body. And still my weight wouldn’t budge. What I didn’t understand then was this: my body wasn’t resisting weight loss it was protecting me... WOW! Game changer moment!

Through the Library, I finally learned how to listen to what my body was communicating instead of trying to override it.

I began to see what I was carrying, not just physically, but biologically. The stress load. The inflammation. The metabolic strain. The quiet bottlenecks that were signaling my body to hold on, not let go. My weight wasn’t the problem. It was the signal.

Once I understood the bottlenecks, where cellular communication was narrowed and safety was compromised everything changed. Instead of forcing change, I focused on restoring capacity... a word I have come to understand and love.
Instead of fighting my body, I worked with it.

I learned how to recognize cellular signals:

  • when my system felt threatened

  • when it was overloaded

  • when it needed steadiness, not pressure

And as I began making small, informed shifts such as reducing load, restoring rhythm, creating safety, the battle softened.. AND

something remarkable happened, my body let go. Not because I pushed harder, but because it finally felt safe enough to release what it had been holding onto. The weight loss wasn’t dramatic or forced, it was natural. It was the result of understanding, not willpower.

The Library taught me this truth: When you understand why your body is holding on, you stop fighting it and healing begins.  - Mary 48

Cancer recovery isn’t only about managing the real effects of treatment, like chemo brain, or rebuilding after what the body has been through. I am deeply grateful for my treatments, because my cancer is gone.

For me, recovery became something deeper. It was about learning how to return to my body with understanding, how to support the physical strength held within my cells while reconnecting with the spiritual strength in my heart.

Entering the Library felt like opening a new chapter after a very hard season. Instead of pushing my body forward, I learned how to listen to what it was communicating and create space for healing, both physically and spiritually.

Kameo helped me see these pieces clearly. Those insights have become an essential part of my recovery.” - Nicole 51

Information, not blame. This is metabolic understanding not therapy.

We read the body to care for it better.
